1. Why Boston?
I grew up in the suburbs. I wanted my family to grow up in a heterogeneous city and Jamaica Plain is perfect.
2. What’s the one word to describe how people will feel after leaving your New Co session?
Inspired … I hope!
3. On a scale of 1 to 10, how weird are you and why?
Probably a 6. I’m a visionary ”the good, the bad and the ugly of it.”
4. What movie, no matter how many times you’ve seen it, do you have to watch when it’s on?
Most recently, Spy with Melissa McCarthy.
5. In the past few months, what is the smallest change you made that had the biggest positive result?
Repeating the following every day: “Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.” Also, remembering that the key to good business is to treat others the way I want to be treated.
6. If you could have a beer with anyone (dead or alive) who would it be?
These three people (followed by links to their talks that you should watch):
I was too impressed with credentials and not with what they could prove they’d already accomplished.
8. If you were a box of cereal, what would you be and why?
Oatmeal with fruit and nuts healthy, high protein and low calorie.
