Built for Humans: Brain Health, AI, and Designing for the Hardest Users

October 22 @ 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm

This Thursday, we’re looking at what it takes to build things that actually work, for people and for businesses. Start at Connection Collider at 4:30 PM to meet innovators from across the community, then find your way to Office Hours with Chuck Goldstone at 5 PM. Slots are 20 minutes and first-come, first-served, so sign up in person when you arrive!

At 5 PM, The Archaeology of Well-Being: Ancient Wisdom for the Modern Brain brings Lisa Roberts, founder and instructor at BeWell and Healthy Living, to explore how ideas from 2,400 years ago can help us sustain well-being today.

At 6 PM, you’ll have two sessions to choose from. Designing for the Hardest Users: What Health Tech Teaches Everyone features Piotr Zajac and Krzysztof Kaiser from Monterail, who share five design principles for products serving difficult, sensitive, or high-stakes audiences; while From Demo to Deployment: AI That Actually Shipsputs founders on stage to show working AI products and share what they’ve learned about pilots, pricing, and getting customers to pay.

Bring a question you’ve been meaning to ask, and come hungry for a good conversation!
