MassRobotics’ Robosource 2026

August 13 @ 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This week’s Thursday Gathering turns into a showroom for the future of robotics with MassRobotics! Whether you build machines, fund machines, code for machines, or just think robots are cool, this is your night. Come as you are, know as much or as little as you know, and leave with a handful of new people in your corner.

Beginning at 4:30 PM, we begin with the Connection Collider, the backbone of every Thursday Gathering. Be curious about the brilliant minds in the room, whether that is sharing what you’re excited about or pivoting into robotics from a different industry. Every one of those moments is a small bet on serendipity, and this community has a way of making those bets pay off.

We’re delighted to feature MassRobotics’ Robosource, an annual tradition showcasing the next generation of robotic innovation. From 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, join us for the Robotics Showcase in the Santo Domingo Room. Take a look at the region’s most inventive machines right in front of you, built by innovative teams in Boston. Walk the floor, ask the question you are curious about, and let yourself be impressed.

At 5 PM in the Havana Room, join us for the kickoff of six (6) 15-minute rapid flash talks worth planning around. MassRobotics opens with the inside scoop on the largest independent robotics hub in the world. Then Qualcomm’s Rami Mouro leads a session on the Dragonwing IQ9, showing how approachable it can be to build, deploy, and scale intelligent robotics applications, whether you are thinking industrial automation, retail, smart home, or something nobody has dreamed up yet.

At 5:40 PM, E-T-A shares how their circuit breakers keep robotic systems safe during overloads and short circuits, then Advanced Motion Controls follows with four decades as a servo drive supplier, offering a candid look at what makes robotic startups succeed. At 6:20 PM, Foundova Robotics talks about physical AI infrastructure for moving from demo to deployment, and, last but not least, Goddard Product Development closes things out with more than twenty-five years developing medical devices, robotics, and automation systems, sharing real examples from proof of concept through production.

Once the talks wrap around 7 PM, head back to the showcase floor or keep the conversation going at the Connection Collider before things close at 8 PM.

Here at Venture Café Cambridge, we keep things professional and polite! Tip: When networking, lead with conversation starters like “What are you most excited about?” and “What brings you here today?” These are great ways to get to know your fellow innovators and build connections that last.
