MTLC Professional Women’s Meeting: Career Path Planning

In today’s dynamic technology landscape, career growth is as much about strategic decisions as it is about technical acumen. This session, designed for female leaders and aspiring change-makers in tech, explores the critical theme of “Career Path Planning.” We’ll tackle some of the most pressing questions facing women advancing their careers:

• How do you recognize when you’re ready to take on a new role or deeper responsibilities?
• How long should you remain in a given role or at a particular company before seeking new opportunities?
• What steps can you take if you’re eyeing a new position or team, but your background isn’t a perfect match, even though your skills fit?
• How have accomplished leaders navigated their journeys to the positions they hold today? We’ll share stories and lessons learned from a range of pathways.
• What strategies help break ambitious long-term goals into achievable short-term milestones—and conversely, how do tactical wins contribute to a larger strategic vision?
• What practical actions can you take when you feel your career progression has plateaued?
