The GSMA Mobile World Congress is the world’s premier mobile industry event each year. In 2012, over 67,000 people attended, including 3,500 CEOs, 1,500 exhibitors, 12,000 mobile app developers from 205 different countries. In 2012, more Massachusetts companies attended Mobile World Congress than any other U.S. state except California. This year’s conference theme is New Mobile Horizon.
Through a special partnership with the government of Catalonia, the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative has been invited to recruit a delegation of companies to 2013 Mobile World Congress at a discounted rate.
Massachusetts will have a booth, promotional opportunities, and meeting space within the Catalan Pavilion. Additionally, MassTech is a co-organizer of the 2013 Mobile World Congress Brokerage Event, a special partnering program taking place in Congress Square at MWC. In 2012, over 500 companies from 27 countries participated, with approximately 1,000 meetings took place. All MassTech delegation companies will be provided free of charge access to the Brokerage Event.
The 2013 MassTech Mobile World Congress delegation includes capacity for up to eight Massachusetts mobile companies.
– 1 exhibitor pass per company
– Access to space for promotion and networking at a Massachusetts booth
– Free registration to the Brokerage Event
– Access to any additional matchmaking, counseling, and networking opportunities from state, federal, and industry partners
If you are interested, you must fill out this very short application by close of business tomorrow.
Notes: No additional travel or logistical expenses will be covered as part of this package.
