On October 19, 2016, I had the distinct pleasure of leading a panel on “Healthcare Technology Innovation in Massachusetts” during Pegasystems’ 6th Annual Healthcare Summit at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel.
We had a fantastic panel of technology innovators including Steve Bixby, Vice President, Pega7 Platform, at Cambridge-based Pegasystems, Dave Dickenson, Chief Innovation Officer & SVP, Center for Connected Patient Innovation, Cambridge-based OptumLabs, a collaborative research and innovation center co-founded by Optum and the Mayo Clinic, and Mark Slaughter, Head of HealthSuite Labs in the Americas, Healthcare Transformation Services, Philips Healthcare, also based here in Cambridge.
We had a lively and engaging conversation with the panel and conference attendees. Topics included: advanced data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data visualization, “actionable patient information”, “voice of the patient”, and the co-creation of assets.
