Endeavor names first CFO, Prepares to Fill First Major Order

Endeavor Robotics, a Chelmsford-based company that was once the defense and security division of iRobot Corp., has named its first chief financial officer as it prepares to deliver its first major order — bomb-inspecting robots for the U.S. Army — in the two years since it was created.

New CFO David Adams previously held the same position at defense contractors Tribalco and QinetiQ North America. Endeavor CEO Sean Bielatsaid in an email that he “will play an integral part in our direction-setting.”

“Given the tremendous growth Endeavor is experiencing, now was the right time to add an additional senior financial leader to our team,” Bielat said.

The company, which now employs 120 people, is also adding another 10,000 square feet of manufacturing space to its headquarters in Chelmsford.
