Derek SchoettleCEO, ZoomInformationDerek Schoettle is the Chief Executive Officer for ZoomInformation. Derek joined ZoomInfo in July 2018 to accelerate the company’s growth from a leading sales and marketing performance management product to an intelligent, dynamic customer engagement platform, with ZoomInfo’s best in class data serving as its backbone. Previously, Derek was the Chief Business Officer and General Manager for IBM’s Watson and Cloud Platform (W&CP) unit where he focused on the operationalization of W&CP’s strategy, design, offering management and overall Go-To-Market. Derek had joined IBM through the Cloudant acquisition where he led the company through a series of integral changes as the CEO. Derek enjoys bringing new and disruptive technologies to market and driving growth through corporate strategy, business development, marketing and sales. He holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA in History from Dickinson College. Derek lives just outside of Boston, MA, with his wife and four children. Leadership Roles
