Founded in 1971 as the Institute for Governmental Services and later named after its founder, Massachusetts Senate President Maurice A. Donahue, the UMass Amherst Donahue Institute has become a leading provider of public service, research, and economic development support in the Commonwealth and beyond.
Please join us in person as we recognize M. Lee Pelton with our Second Biennial Public Service Award. Our program will also posthumously recognize Stephen Kulik, former Massachusetts Representative from the 1st Franklin District. Special remarks will be delivered by Chancellor Javier Reyes, Representative Natalie M. Blais, and M. Lee Pelton.
